You cannot grade a lot you cannot see. Before a slope gets corrected or a pad gets built, an overgrown parcel has to be cleared and grubbed. Raahi removes brush, saplings, and undergrowth, then grubs out the stumps and roots below the surface so the ground can be shaped clean and given a grade that drains.

Why Grubbing Matters

• Roots leave voids. Cut a tree at the surface and the buried root ball rots out later, leaving a soft dish that ponds water. Grubbing pulls the roots so the fill sits on solid ground.
• Clean ground grades true. With the stumps and debris gone, the dozer can establish real pad elevations and continuous fall instead of working around obstacles.
• It opens wooded lots. A parcel out toward China Spring or in Cedar Ridge that has gone back to brush becomes buildable and gradeable again.

Our Process

We call 811 first, protect the trees and utilities you want kept, and clear the rest with skid steer loaders and excavators. Stumps and roots are grubbed out and hauled off or mulched on site, and the cleared ground is rough graded so it drains while the next phase is planned. Debris leaves clean, and the lot is left ready to shape.
